Welcome to Year 1
The Year 1 curriculum builds on and extends from the EYFS curriculum. Year 1 classes are structured more formally than in the Early Years however at Furze each classroom has dedicated spaces to involve continued practical and independent learning. The Year 1 staff work very closely with the EYFS team to ensure smooth transition, continuity and progression.
